Let’s become Pen Pals!

What's in it for you?

Weekly Inspiration! My newsletter goes out every Friday, mainly because on Fridays, I am in love (who knows the song!?), and newsletters are like love letters to me.

When you read my letters on Fridays, please imagine meeting us for coffee and chatting. It can be a quick one while we walk in the park or a longer hang-out in my favourite corner café. It depends on the day and what's going on at the moment. Sounds crazy!? That's what's going on in my mind when I write to you. Let's hope you like quirky characters!

Generally, I will bring you up to speed and tell you about my newest pattern releases plus what's currently in the making... As small gifts maintain friendship, you are in for a surprise treat now and then. Friday Letters also includes invites to my monthly Vlog, the Coffee Chat, and coupons; the first one will come when you sign up! How does 50% off your first knitting pattern sound!? I somehow feel sharing the risk on your first purchase 50/50 is a fair deal…

I aim for more:
Creating knitting tips and other tutorials to help you knit my patterns. I will teach you the basic constructions for bandana cowls, my favourite item to design and knit! Did I mention my plans for photography? Well... You see, there is a lot to gain by signing up for the Friday Letters!

What I don't talk about:

  • Pets (as I don't have any)

  • Kids (as I don't design for kids)

  • The classic topics in women's magazines, e.g. make-up or decoration tips (because they bore me to tears)

  • Nature & traditional lifestyle (I am a modern City Girl)

  • Anything that would fit in a meme and make a knitter look small or stupid (those are driving me crazy!)

What I do talk about:

  • Sustainability (inspiring, innovative and creative approaches)

  • Rarely, but when I feel the need to add something to the big topics running wild in the community (always thoughtful, multifaceted, personal, authentic and open-minded – NEVER sensational!)

  • For entertainment tips, think #knitflix, podcasts, books, etc. (I love thrilling and heart-warming stories, deep and creative quirky characters, and breathtaking pictures; plus, nothing makes me happier than seeing creative people thrive!)

  • For further training opportunities, imagine workshops, events and video tutorials (like Vogue Knitting Live & Knitstars), blogs, books, etc. (the things that help us enthusiastic life-long learners to level up)

So, are you going to come to our first actual date? I hope so! Hit the button and sign up for the Friday Letters. I look forward to having you as a chat buddy!
